About HCA

It is our desire at Hosanna Christian Academy to challenge your child intellectually while also expanding their spiritual development.  It is our mission to invest in your child the foundational academic knowledge necessary to prepare them for post secondary training while investing in them the Biblical foundations to enable them to live out the life that God has planned for them.  Our statement of faith clearly states our core beliefs.

We believe . . .
the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:16)
in one God, eternally existent in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.  (1 John 5:4-6)
in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal, future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. (1 Cor. 15:3; 1 Peter 2:21-24; John 3:16)
in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. (John 5:24, 28, 29)
in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ
in the Christian's hope: The soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thes. 4:16-18)

We believe . . .
that each student is a distinct individual creation of an omnipotent God. (John 1:3; Eph. 2:10; Eccl. 12:1)
that each individual student is the creation of God and, therefore, is the property of God. (Ps. 119:73; Col. 1:16)
that each student must be a careful and faithful steward of his conscience. (Acts 24:16; 1 Cor. 8:7-10; 1 Peter 2:19; Heb. 10:22)
that each individual student is directly responsible to God for the direction of his life. (Ps. 119:105; Prov. 16:9; Ps. 37:23)

Our GOAL and PURPOSE is to EDUCATE . . .
Spiritually - Your child needs to realize there is a center to all life.  God's truth is THE TRUTH.  It is central to all of learning and all of living.  Hosanna Christian Academy seeks to meet the child's spiritual needs by consistently focusing on the person of Jesus Christ.  The teaching of God's word and prayer are an important part of our program.
Academically - Your child has a God-given, compulsive desire to learn.  He wants to know "the what and why" of everything.  His or her instruction is often the difference between effective learning and frustrated defeat.  We know that careful planning is necessary for well-balanced, academic excellence.  We strive to incorporate the Bible's teachings in all subject areas.
